Jim Zuckerman left his medical studies in 1970 to pursue his love of photography and turn it in to a career. He has taught creative photography at many universities and private schools throughout the United States. He currently leads many international photo excursions to exotic destinations such as Namibia, Burma, Ethiopia, Indonesia, India, Europe, Iceland and Brazil. To date, Jim has visited and photographed iconic landmarks and the landscapes of over ninety countries.
Jim's work has been exhibited in galleries all over the United States and his images have been licensed for various products sold worldwide. Jim has been a contributing editor to Photographic Magazine. His articles, photo features have been published in diverse magazines such as: Time-Life Books, National Geographic Society, Outdoor Photographer, Life Magazine, Omni Magazine, Conde-Nast Traveler, Shutterbug, Science Fiction Age and National Wildlife.
