John Powell

John Powell has spent the last 65 years working as a "fine artist". Often described as a "lyrical realist", John has devoted his life to his work, producing hundreds of inspired canvases and creating his "visions of paradise" for so many to enjoy. He weaves the patterns of the adventures and experiences of his life into his paintings, filling them with flowers, pottery, fabrics and more that makes them exciting to the eye. He has sold his work throughout the world and in 1996 was chosen as the World Federation of the United Nations Association artist of the year.
